Construction or refurbishment of a property can be carried out from inception through to completion with the full range of necessary services provided in house. The design, contractual, site monitoring and financial control functions performed by Martin Associates are as follows:


Refurbishment project

Inception stage:
Discussion with client and agreement of brief and proposals.
Inspection of property and advising in respect of feasibility and providing budget costs if required.

Pre Contract Stage:
Preparation of tender documentation including full working drawings, specification schedule of works and contract conditions.
Submission of plans to Local Authority in order to obtain Building Warrant / Planning Approval.
Ingathering and analysing competitive tenders.

Contract Stage:
Contract administration including budget control and progress meetings.
Monitoring works on site to ensure compliance with contract document.
Contract completion.
Certifying Practical Completion and handover to client.
